i know jaracz was publicly accused of molesting a young girl (now an adult).

I just have to say that some topics on this board are real shockers and truly enlightening. I am totally dumn struck by the info here.
This thread, for me, is one of the most damning threads against the org I have ever read, oh if only rank and file JWs could read some of this stuff.
The GB are held in such high esteem by the masses and yet look at what is really going on.

NBC did a news item on the child molestation cases involving JWs & the WTBTS.
The org issued a statement on there media website straight after it was aired.
The connection is that on page 3 of the Keep on the Watch brochure it mentions child molestation, but in a finger pointing way at other religions.
Its just a guess but that could be the reason for the change in offer for the month in January.

Not a huge deal really, just unusual.

this is the third elder that tells me that the body of elders will recommend me as an elder in the next visit of the co.. what do you think i should do?
some facts:.
i am still 'in' because of my family.i am ms.i am doing 10+ fake hours (well, some months it is fake), so they see my "spiritual" progress.-ootb.
I was an elder until recently - my advice - do not do it. Its alot more work and I also agree with others that it is dishonest.

they have inserted an image that is meant to represent the anointed class, it is not like the usual ones.
generally these pics would have them with gray hair looking very old, but this image "in my opinion" seems to show them a bit younger.
Unfortunately I am at work and do not have access to a scanner, perhaps tonight if I get a chance.

Been a wee while since I have been here, holidays and stuff.
Anyway, I received the new Feb 15th WT last night, the one with the generation change. They have inserted an image that is meant to represent the anointed class, it is not like the usual ones. Generally these pics would have them with gray hair looking very old, but this image "in my opinion" seems to show them a bit younger.
This would make sense I suppose with the new understanding.
I was also very impressed how the org managed to sneak in this new point, a footnote at the bottom of the page, not the slightest reference to the 1995 article.

thats right, about 2 weeks ago i confronted the po and told him i just could not do it anymore.. i genuinely have been under alot of pressure recently with my work so i used this as the pitch.
he was not happy but i received little resistance, which suited me.
i handed him my letter last week before i went on holiday.. i have to say it is a great weight off my shoulders, no book study, meetings for ministry, talks, public talks etc etc.. i will no doubt be the subject of local congregation gossip!

i remember in high school, i was able to type at 40 words per minute after counting my errors, and they way they counted it, if i remember well, was your total words minus the errors you made to give an approximate speed.. here is the test.

I was involved in a case where a sister (she had not been at meetings for a while) arranged a birthday party for her non witness daughter.
